Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi commented on the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia during the 2025 Hajj season and the measures it is taking to organize and care for pilgrims.
This came in a tweet by the Iranian minister on his X (formerly Twitter) page, as reported by the official Iranian News Agency. He said: “Iran clearly condemns any attempt targeting the unity of Muslims, especially during the spiritual atmosphere prevailing during the Hajj season.”
He continued: “We are determined not to allow anyone to harm our brotherly relations with our neighbors, including the progressing path of relations with Saudi Arabia.”
He added: “Iran appreciates the effective and efficient efforts of the Hajj administration this year. We also salute and pray for the well-being of the Saudi government and people for hosting pilgrims to the House of God, and we hope for their success and progress in continuing this path,” according to the Iranian agency.
