On behalf of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of Bahrain, His Highness Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Educational Charitable Trust and Chairman of the Working Capital Fund (Tamkin), attended the ceremony to confer the title of Pope Robert Provost (Leo XIV) which took place today in St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican.
The ceremony was attended by many world leaders, dignitaries and dignitaries. At the ceremony, Sheikh Isa bin Salman conveyed the congratulations and good wishes of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to Pope Leo XIV. The leaders expressed their hope for the continued success of the Vatican’s humanitarian mission in promoting the values of fraternity and global cooperation for the good of humanity. His Highness also highlighted the long-standing and deep-rooted relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Vatican, and stressed their joint efforts to promote coexistence, harmony and mutual understanding among nations. He stressed Bahrain’s commitment to strengthening bilateral cooperation with the Vatican and raising it to new levels to serve global humanitarian goals and promote dialogue, peace and tolerance throughout the world.
Furthermore, His Majesty stressed Bahrain’s strong stance, under the leadership of His Majesty the King, to foster interfaith and intercultural dialogue. He reiterated the Kingdom’s continued support for international initiatives aimed at promoting peace and mutual understanding. He noted that this commitment reflects the visionary leadership of Her Majesty the Queen and the efforts of the government, led by His Majesty the Crown Prince and the Prime Minister, to position Bahrain as a global center for dialogue and human tolerance.
